Mustard Allegro in their current incarnation came about when former members of The Model Folk joined forces to play original material with a unique twist on traditional pieces. The music is created with powerful and versatile saxophone, twanging guitar, throbbing bass and driving drums and topped off with vocals; it’s a heady mix of influences from reggae to klezmer, balkan to ska and afrobeat to surf, our aim is to get everyone laughing and dancing in equal measure.
